Aqua-Press

The Aqua-Press Surgical Irrigation System provides controlled irrigation of the surgical area through the irrigation syringe. Aqua-Press system safeguards the sterility of the solution and prevents the risk of air embolism. A standard infusion bag of max. 1000 mL of sterile, physiological (isotonic) saline solution is placed inside the “pressure pouch”. The pouch is inflated by the hand pump, which causes the water to flow.

Irrigation during surgical procedures
Besides improving the visibility of the surgical site; irrigation with a sterile, physiological saline solution may counteract intracellular edema and potential infection.
Sufficient irrigation may accelerate healing, reduce scar tissue formation and minimize postoperative pain.

Silicone hoses and metal parts can be sterilized up to 135ºC
